What does a share cost?
What are my payment options?
You can pay by check or credit card. We do offer a payment plan. 25% down upon registration, 25% at first delivery, and the remaining 50% is divided up over the 22 week season and charged weekly.
How much produce will I get each week?
A regular harvest share generally includes 6 to 10 items, based on your preferences. If you are a large family, or a medium to small family preparing most of your meals at home and eating a primarily vegetarian or especially a vegan diet, you might consider an extra-large share. If you are a small family or eat out at least a couple of times per week, you may want to consider splitting the share with a friend or neighbor or purchasing a small share. Some examples of some regular shares throughout the season are (of course, your share is custom created based on your preferences and what's in season, AND you can swap items out for other in-season items):

How many people does this feed?
The Regular Harvest Share will feed two adults with a healthy appetite for vegetables. It will accommodate two adults with a moderate vegetable appetite along with two or so kids. If you are uncertain about being able to use all the produce, you might find friends to split the share with, either by divvying up the box each week or taking alternate weeks for the entire share, or purchasing a small share). If you have a large family or a vegan family, and cook nearly all your meals at home, you might consider an extra-large share. Remember that your box is custom packed so you'll receive fruits and veggies that you already know you'll love!
What types of vegetables can I expect to find in my box?
The harvest share is custom packed based on your personal preferences. That being said, certain things only grow in certain seasons here, so your choices will depend on the season. Check out the harvest calendar to get an idea of what to expect. The harvest calendar includes our core crops; we also grow many new crops that your can choose for a taste bud tease, and we source some popular crops like sweet corn, beets, and sweet potatoes from other growers since we don't have space to grow absolutely everything, but don't want you to miss out!
What happens if I don't pick up my box?
If you'll be away and can't pick up your box, schedule a vacation hold/reschedule in advance and we'll issue you a vacation credit which may be used to double a box when you're having company, or to add on extras to your box throughout the season. Otherwise, if you don't pick up your box, we'll donate it to the local food bank. Since we use your payments to produce crops for each season, vacation credits must be used within the same season.

Can I give a gift of membership?
Giving the gift of a Harvest Share to a friend or family member is a wonderful idea. We can provide a custom gift certificate for the recipient. Sign them up!
How does the low income share support work?
By giving an extra $20 (one time) with your registration, you help to subsidize a share for a less fortunate family. 45% of our members give this little bit extra to help out those less fortunate. Please consider giving this small amount extra; the more members who contribute, the more low income shares we can support! You can also donate your vacation credits to the low income share program.
